They are competing in 11 sports activities: mini football, basketball, volleyball, chess, table tennis, darts, sports fishing, long jump without a run-up, while the biggest attraction is the so-called Shepherd’s Skills competition (Čobanske veštine) – throwing a rock from a shoulder, pulling “kličak”, pulling rope, etc.
The Countryside Olympics is held every August in one of the villages of the Nova Varoš municipality. It is organized by the Tourism Organization of Zlatar.
