BAJINA BAŠTA

The town lies at the foot of Tara mountain, on the right bank of Drina river.

It was established in the mid-19th century by the order of the former Serbian ruler Aleksandar Karađorđević in 1858.

The population of the town according to the 2011 pole is around 26,000.

The popular landmark of Bajina Bašta is the House on the Rock.
